Signatures-r-us are proud to have become involved with the charity, Red Balloon Merseyside - James Bulger House. Red Balloon Merseyside, like Cambridge, Norwich and Harrow will be based in a house in the centre of Liverpool. It will provide a safe learning environment for children who have been severely bullied. James Bulger House will be a sanctuary for students between the ages of 10 and 17 who no longer attend mainstream school. The school will provide a full time education for those children of whom many have attempted or seriously considered suicide. The students are promised a safe learning environment with clear boundaries for behaviour and a full time academic, pastoral and therapeutic programme. Once the students have regained their confidence and are able to cope academically and socially they will return to mainstream school, enter further education or employment with support from Red Balloon. There is a robust calendar of fundraising events in order to raise £1 million pounds for the set up of the school in Liverpool.
